Emily's Banquet Hall began in 2014, but the story behind its name started before the doors ever opened. Emily was the owner's sister's daughter, a young girl in the family who passed away before she had the chance to celebrate her quinceañera.
"For a family, a quinceañera is not simply another party. It is one of those milestones everyone looks forward to like the dress, the photographs, the music, the gathering of relatives and friends, and the moment a young girl gets to celebrate this new chapter surrounded by the people who have watched her grow."
Emily never had that celebration. When the banquet hall was established, her name became part of it — Emily's Banquet Hall.
It was a way of keeping her memory close, but over time, the name also came to represent something larger.
